ESC Newsletter

November 2007

Dear collegue,

As a primary focus we asked the Heart House based Membership and Associations' teams to answer a few questions related to their respective Constituent Bodies representation and activities at ESC Congress 2007 to get behind the scenes.

This international conference is indeed an amazing exchange platform allowing intensive networking amongst committees and boards that are behind the steering wheel of the ESC leadership. Navigate from the index page here...

Our second focus is on the European Heart Health Charter (EHHC) launched on 12 June this year and as says Kim Fox "we were delighted to see that it was endorsed by the European Parliament and cited it amongst its Resolutions regarding heart health. It is now the work of the ESC together with the European Heart Network to implement the EHHC in many of the countries of Europe."

Moreover we provide you with three months worth of news from our scientific committees, upcoming congresses & meetings and constituent bodies news.
