Recently, the ESC has contributed to shaping the European Regulatory Affairs environment by responding to various European Commission and EMEA consultations.
- Questionnaire on the interaction with health care professionals (as part of the ESC participation in the EMEA Health Care Professionals Working Group)
- Guideline on the evaluation of medicinal products for cardiovascular disease prevention (EMEA)
- Proposal for a revision of the European Commission guideline on Summary of Products Characteristics (EMEA)
- Draft guideline on Clinical evaluation of Coronary Stents (European Commission)
- Development of a CHMP guideline on the Clinical investigations of Medicinal Products for the treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension (EMEA)
The ESC will also be involved in the organisation of a Cardiovascular Round Table workshop on pulmonary hypertension, that will take place on 26 September 2008 in London. Check this space soon for more information.
