Membership

There are 19 Working Groups established as official work groups of the European Society of Cardiology.

Each Working Group has a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, a Treasurer, a Secretary, a Nucleus and Ordinary Members.

The members are chosen for their competence by recognised experts in the field of interest of the Working Group. Each Working Group has individual organisational arrangements, in which the most important items are stated, such as membership, election of officers, etc. These arrangements need approval from the Board of the ESC.
