Congress badge

Delegates registered before 15 April 2009 will receive their Congress Badge in advance by mail.
This allows direct entrance to the congress.
The right part of your Congress Badge is your Delegate Bag voucher.

Delegate Bag

Each delegate is entitled a Delegate Bag to be picked up from the dedicated desk in the Registration Area.
It contains the Final Programme, the Abstract Book/CD-Rom voucher, a notepad and pen, some Industry advertisement.

Disabled People 

The building is fully accessible to disabled people.

Journal

Participants paying the Standard Fee will receive a two years subscription to the Europace Journal 2010 & 2011.

Language

The official language during the Congress is English. No translation is available.

No smoking 

EUROPACE is a no smoking congress.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in any area of the building. Thank you for your cooperation.

Restaurant 


Lunch is provided to EUROPACE 2009 participants on Monday 22 June and Tuesday 23 June.

Speakers' Service Centre

All speakers giving a presentation in the scientific sessions are requested to upload and validate their presentation in the Speakers' Service Centre (SSC) located close to the Registration Area, a minimum of 3 hours before the session starts or the day before if the session is at 8:30.

Banking

Bank services are available at the airport and throughout the city. Berlin is well supplied with 24-hours cash dispensers, which take most major credit cards.
Standard banking hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00.
Most banks are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Climate

Berlin has a temperate/mesothermal climate.
The warmest months are June, July and August, with mean temperatures of 17°C.
In June the temperature varies from 12°C to 22°C.
Berlin's built-up area creates a microclimate with heat stored by the city's buildings.

Currency

The monetary unit in Germany is Euro (€).

Electricity

In Germany, electricity is supplied at 230V and power sockets are of 2 round pins type.

Time Zone
